In a decision that is not surprising, given the religion that is vaccines in the U.S, the Supreme Court refused to hear cases of parents trying to sue drug makers for vaccine damage to their children, such as autism and other serious health problems.

Parents only option now is the no-fault vaccine court which parents feel has let them down.

Also not surprising is that the American Society of Pediatrics, ever the defenders of vaccines, sided with the big drug companies in cheering the ruling. Whose side is your pediatrician on.

The case involved of an infant who sued the drug maker Wyeth in Pennsylvania. Shortly after getting the DPT shot, the third in a series of five, the baby had several debilitating seizures.The child. now 19, continues to suffer from seizure disorders.

The court voted 6-2 against hearing the case, with justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor siding with the parents.
