“Unfortunately, (the FDA) has been asleep at the switch, in fact resistant to respecting the scientific evidence that grave harm can result in the use of this product,” Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal the AP reported. “The preventable release of a toxic chemical directly into the food we eat is unconscionable and intolerable.”
