I have recently decided to stop vaccinations on my children after doing research I am greatful to the Lord that none of the reactions have pertained to death , my last child is now a year old I have not vaccinated him at all, I was wondering I could not find a homeopathic doctor in my area that would work with me payment wise if my regular physicians could force me to vaccinate him.

I have looked up my rights and know them but I know how crooked people can be when they dont get what they want especially when money is involved. Maybe you could recommend me to someone in my area that would help , I would sure be greatful. God Bless!

Are you asking if your normal physician can force you to vaccinate your child? No they cannot force you. However, if you are truly worried about this, I would be sure not to leave your child alone in the doctor’s office. Also make sure to write on your child’s school forms that you do not want vaccination. You might write something like “My child is very sensitive to vaccines. Do not vaccinate.”

I have heard of cases where a pediatrician refused to provide services to a family that refuses vaccination. This is their right. If so, I recommend you find another pediatrician. One resource might be the Holistic Pediatrics Association — http://www.hpakids.org. The pediatricians who affiliate with this organization will naturally be more open-minded.

Where are you located? It might be interesting for you to find a pediatrician who is also a homeopath. There are not many such people, but two resources are the American Institute of Homeopathy (MD’s and DO’s who are homeopaths) and the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (ND’s who specialize in homeopathy):

Are you aware of the new procedure for permanent birth control called ESSURE? I am considering it, but am concerned about the metal implants, which are made of nickel. My autistic son was shown to have high amounts of nickel in his system when tested 5-6 years ago. We dealt with that, and now I am having great doubts about having nickel implanted into my body. Thanks for your question. I’m afraid I do not know anything about ESSURE. But I share your concerns about metal implants. I would discuss the risks with your gynecologist and also surf around on the internet to see if there are any reports of problems. In addition, given that you have an autistic son with nickel issues, this certainly indicates that there may be a particular sensitivity to metals in your family. I would also be wary of dental amalgams (which contain mercury) or the placement of any other alien metal in your body.

Birth control is always a huge issue. Birth control pills have become the primary method of choice these days, but they definitely cause health issues for many women and homeopaths have found that they can make homeopathic treatment more difficult.

Personally, I am a big fan of the least invasive forms of birth control. If condoms aren’t appropriate, then I am an advocate of the good old-fashioned diaphragm. Of course, as they say, it only works if you use it! So you have to be religious about using it and using it properly — i.e. with contraceptive cream. It is true that these creams are also toxic, but at least they are in your body for only a short period of time.

My son was diagnosed ADHD when he was 4. He went through a lot of testing at a Just Kids Center and the diagnosis was confirmed by a pediatric neurologist. I did not want to put him on medication which was recommended at that time. His teachers and I were constantly working on behavior modification plus he had physical therapy and counseling through school. He is in special education.

This whole situation has really taken a toll on his self esteem. He was not functioning well in school so 18 months ago I put him on Strattera on the doctor’s recommendation.

My happy impulsive loving little boy has now turned into an angry, depressed and defiant 8 year old child. I took him off of the Strattera 4 weeks ago.

I miss my son.

I called the doctor before I took him off the medication and his pediatrician recommended a Ritalin based drug instead. I could not bring myself to put him on a controlled substance. The only thing the Strattera did take care of is the hyperactivity. It seemed to me that the longer he was on the Strattera the more slow he got at processing information. He’s reading slower, speaking slower and processing information much slower than before he went on the medication.

I have since started changing his diet replacing many foods with organic and lower sugar content foods. He is drinking soy milk and protein shakes. I started him on a supplement regiment as recommended in The A.D.D. Nutrition Solution by Marcia Zimmerman.

It has only been 3 weeks since we started the change in foods and the vitamins so we have not seen much change yet.

Can Homeopathic treatment help my son with ADHD? Where can I find a listing of practioners in my area? I live in Shirley New York, which is in the town of Brookhaven on the East End of Long Island.

I’ve tried my local phone books and local searches on the internet and mostly come up with Massage therapists and Chiropractors. If there are websites that you can recommend that has listings for practitioners in New York, I would appreciate it, especially if there are listing for Long Island.I would appreciate any help or advice

YES, definitely homeopathy can help your son. Many homeopaths successfully treat ADHD. And when I say “treat” I don’t just mean “suppress the symptoms”. Homeopathy actually has the potential to CURE, not just palliate. It provides such a wonderful and natural approach — it is quite sad that more people don’t try homeopathy first, before subjecting their children to toxic drugs that can never really cure, they only mask the symptoms.

d) I do think diets can be helpful. Especially important to consider is removing milk, maybe gluten, food colorings, and excessive sugar. Check out the Feingold diet. However, with successful homeopathic treatment, food sensitivities should disappear over time (but not right away).

Please, tell me what will be the best way to help my Son cope with Lupus (SML) and to find relief from his body ache & hands swelling & pain.

ZIt is very sad to hear my son saying that it hurts to sleep. My Sons age is 25 and in the last 7 months has been diagnosed with (SML)Lupus. The medicines prescribed for him scare me deeply with the possible side effects. I know it is so hard to be a mom and watch your son suffer! Homeopathy has a lot to offer people with a serious chronic disease like Lupus. But this kind of condition requires expert care by a certified classical homeopath. Since your son is an adult, it also requires that he fully engage in this process himself and commit to giving homeopathy a try. There is no “magic” bullet that you can buy and give him. Homeopathic treatment will likely be a process that takes at least a year or two and your son will have to have several appointments with the homeopath and provide the information that is required.
